is a Calgary-based Product Designer with a passion for combining the technical product with the human user experience.
What makes a product great? It's not the features, the looks, or the pricing that makes it attractive, but ultimately its our experience with it that defines greatness.
Coming from a background in software (SaaS) product consulting, product development and software/hardware product engineering, I saw this firsthand. No matter what technicalities I would incorporate, what mattered most at the end was how the user engaged with it and what their experience was.
I now combine that knowledge of technical product development, the business consulting and operations side, and the user experience refinement to create products that embody creativity, function and human connection.
My past experiences include teaching UI Design at Simon Fraser University - guiding students in using Figma to create sound designs that apply UX principles. I have also consulted for multiple startups and clients to generate solutions for telehealth product launches and enhancements for established SAP services.
I am a certificate holder of the mentor-led Springboard UX/UI Design Bootcamp and have a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Calgary.
Outside of work, you'll probably catch me playing through my endless backlog of video games, learning digital art, running through a round of board games or enjoying the great Rockies in my backyard!
